1. Agreement and eligibility

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the Vector mobile application and the tradevector.app website (together, the "Service"), operated by [LEGAL OPERATOR NAME] ("Vector," "we," "us"). By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to these Terms and to our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the Service. You must be at least 18 years old to use Vector, and you confirm that you are able to enter into these Terms.

2. Accounts

You are responsible for your account and for activity that occurs under it. Keep your credentials confidential, provide accurate account information, and notify us at [CONTACT EMAIL] if you suspect unauthorized use. You may sign in with email and password, Apple, or Google; sign-in through Apple or Google is also subject to those providers' terms.

3. The Vector service

Vector is a behavioral performance and trade-journaling tool. You record your trades, including results such as net profit or loss and R multiple, and behavioral inputs such as preparation, emotions, mistakes, and rule adherence. Vector calculates metrics, scores, and insights from what you record to help you review your own trading behavior.

4. No brokerage, trade execution, or financial advice

Vector is not a broker-dealer, exchange, or trading platform, and does not connect to any brokerage or exchange account. It does not execute, route, or transmit orders, and does not hold, manage, or transfer money or other assets. Vector does not provide trade signals, and it does not provide financial, investment, legal, or tax advice. Its metrics, scores, insights, and other outputs are calculations based on the information you enter, not recommendations to buy, sell, or hold any instrument or to trade at all. For advice, consult a licensed professional.

5. Trading risk and user responsibility

Trading involves substantial risk of loss and is not suitable for everyone. You are solely responsible for your trading decisions and their outcomes. Vector is a journaling and self-analysis tool, and using it does not reduce the risk of trading. We do not guarantee that using Vector will improve your trading performance, discipline, or profitability. Vector's calculations depend on the information you enter; if that information is inaccurate or incomplete, the resulting metrics and insights will be as well.

6. Subscriptions and billing

Parts of Vector require a paid subscription, Vector Pro, offered on monthly and annual plans. Current prices are shown in the app before purchase.

Subscriptions are purchased through Apple's App Store and billed by Apple to your Apple account. Vector does not receive your payment-card or bank details. Subscriptions renew automatically at the end of each billing period unless you cancel at least 24 hours before the period ends. You can cancel at any time in your App Store subscription settings; cancellation takes effect at the end of the current period, and you keep access until then. Deleting the app or your Vector account does not cancel a subscription.

Because Apple bills you, refunds are handled by Apple under Apple's policies, and we cannot issue App Store refunds directly. If a free trial or introductory offer is made available, its terms, including duration and the price after the offer, will be shown at purchase, and the paid subscription will begin automatically unless you cancel before the offer ends. We use RevenueCat to verify purchases and manage entitlements; RevenueCat does not bill you.

7. User content

"Your Content" means the information you enter into Vector, including trade records, results, behavioral inputs, settings, and custom labels. You own Your Content. These Terms do not transfer ownership of it to us.

You grant us a limited, non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to host, store, process, analyze, display, transmit, and back up Your Content for the purpose of operating, securing, maintaining, and improving the Service for you. This license ends when Your Content is deleted from the Service, except for residual backup copies retained for a limited period and information we are required to keep. We do not sell Your Content, publish it, use it for advertising, or sublicense it for unrelated purposes.

8. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

  • use the Service unlawfully or in breach of these Terms;
  • access or attempt to access another user's account or data;
  • disrupt, overload, probe, or interfere with the Service or its infrastructure;
  • reverse engineer or attempt to extract source code, except where the law permits despite this restriction;
  • scrape or bulk-extract data from the Service;
  • resell or sublicense the Service; or
  • present Vector's outputs as investment advice or trade signals, or use the Service to advise others.

9. Vector intellectual property

The Service, including the application, website, design, branding, software, and the calculation and presentation of behavioral metrics, is owned by us or our licensors and protected by intellectual-property laws. We grant you a personal, limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, and revocable license to use the app on your devices for your own use under these Terms. All rights not expressly granted are reserved. We may use feedback you send us to improve the Service without obligation to you.

10. Third-party services

The Service relies on third-party providers, including Supabase for hosting and authentication, RevenueCat for subscription management, Apple for the App Store, payments, and Apple sign-in, and Google for Google sign-in. Your use of those services is subject to their own terms and privacy policies, and we are not responsible for services we do not control.

The app is distributed through Apple's App Store, and your use of it is also subject to Apple's applicable terms, including Apple's Licensed Application End User License Agreement. Apple has no obligation to provide maintenance or support for the app. To the extent required by Apple's applicable terms, claims relating to the app are the responsibility of Vector rather than Apple.

11. Availability, changes, and termination

We work to keep Vector available but do not guarantee uninterrupted access, and the Service may be unavailable during maintenance, updates, or events outside our control. We may add, change, or remove features.

Vector is currently offered as an early-access product in active development. Features may change, availability is not guaranteed, and you should keep independent records of important trading information.

You may stop using Vector at any time and may request account deletion from within the app, as described in our Privacy Policy. We may suspend or terminate your access if you materially breach these Terms, if required by law, or if continuing to provide the Service to you creates security or legal risk. Provisions that by their nature should survive termination will do so, including Sections 4, 5, 7, 9, 12, and 13.

12. Disclaimers

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available." To the maximum extent permitted by law, we disclaim all warranties, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement, and any warranty that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that its outputs will be accurate or complete. Nothing in this section excludes warranties or rights that cannot be excluded under applicable law.

13. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Vector's total liability for claims arising from or relating to the Service will not exceed the amount you paid for the Service during the twelve months before the event giving rise to the claim. We will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for lost profits, lost data, or trading losses, to the extent the law permits their exclusion. These limitations do not apply where prohibited by law, and they do not affect mandatory consumer rights that apply to you.

14. General terms and contact

These Terms and the Privacy Policy are the entire agreement between you and us regarding the Service. If a provision is found unenforceable, the remaining provisions stay in effect. Our failure to enforce a provision is not a waiver. You may not assign these Terms; we may assign them in connection with a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets. We may update these Terms as the Service develops, and if changes are material we will revise the "Last updated" date and provide notice through the app or website; continuing to use the Service after changes take effect means the updated Terms apply.

For questions about these Terms, contact [LEGAL OPERATOR NAME] at [CONTACT EMAIL].
